CONFIRMATION CLASS
THE CONFIRMATION CLASS for youths who are in 6th grade or higher in the 2010-2011 school year.
The confirmation class will help teenagers see their new visions. The goal of the class is to help youths become faithful, thinking, and doing persons in our church and society.
The class will be held between 3 and 5 pm on each Sunday except several Sundays due to holidays.
The class will be divided into two parts:
The first part is to study and discuss topics such as the relation between Christian faith and science, Christian faith and money, and Christian faith and culture. The second part is to study how our religious ancestors saw their visions and dreamed dreams through learning the Old and News Testament, Jesus Christ, the Bible in genearl and sacraments.
The orientation of will be Sunday, September 5, 3:00 pm at the church.
The class will be at the church every Sunday for 12 weeks. The first class will be on September 12, 2010 and the last class will January 16, 2011

First Sunday of the month is breakfast Sunday, come 30 minutes early!
Worship Service 10:30 AM Sundays--informal and friendly. We just started using AV projection in our blended service. Volunteers to contribute their skills in a media team are needed!Youth can run the computer-projector!
Holy Communion:
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday monthly, Christmas Eve, Maundy (Holy) Thursday, and other special occasions. The United Methodist Church practices open communion for all Christian believers, and receiving the Body of Christ is a personal choice according to one's own relationship to Jesus.
SUNDAY SERMON
September 5, Rev. Dr. BC Hwang will preach his message titled "Raising Questions and Trying to Answer to Questions" will be delivered. The Scripture will be Luke 14:25-33.
September 12, He will preach "Made Joy by Getting Lost and Found" based on Luke 15:1-10.

Bibles will be presented to 3rd graders
